Ardoch 200

We had a fantastic night of Music and Dance celebrating Ardoch being 200 years old.

The children of both schools wrote and choreographed songs and dance with Lucy, Aileen and Dave of Living Communities.

People from the whole community came to watch the children perform.

A big thank you to the Ardoch Trust who donated money for this event to happen.

Also thank you to all the people involved with lighting, sound and music production.

DVDs  will be produced shortly of the production, but until then, enjoy the photos!Congratulations especially to all the children involved.

Our Scottish Celebration

Today we were joined by Greenloaning Primary School and had a great Scottish Celebration!

We were entertained by songs, dances, Scottish poetry and violin and guitar playing.

Last week each class selected three class winners in their Scottish poetry competition.

All of the winners went forward today to select one winner and then the winner of the Bobby Muir cup.

A big thank you to Fiona Keillar, Fiona Watson, Mike Boxer and Harry McLelland for judging the competition.

This was then followed by teas and coffees. Thank you to all who helped.

Commonwealth Day

P1-7 went to the Commonwealth Day held at Crieff High School at the Strathearn Campus on Wednesday 25th June, 2014.

We joined the other schools in the Crieff cluster including the High School.

First of all we marched behind the Crieff High School Pipe band with our Malawi flag.

Then we were treated to the opening dance, in which some of our older girls were in.

One of our pupils in P7 was also presented with an award for designing the logo for the day.

Well done BM!

We then split up into classes and did different activities such as rugby, potted sports, music etc…

A big thank you to Emily Greaves and her team from Crieff High School for organising this event!
