Volcano Technology

Primary Five have been very busy making volcanoes.

We used chicken wire, a shoe box and a kitchen roll tube to make the structure of the volcano. – Maya Ali

We used strips of newspaper mixed with watered down PVA glue to create the shape of the volcano. – Sam Gilgis

2D Shape

Primary Five have been very busy investigating 2D shape.  We went on a shape hunt in the playgroud to see what shapes we could find and what they were used for.

I loved looking for all the 2D shapes that were in our playground.  I hadn’t noticed how many different shapes there were in our environment. – Niamh O’Donnell
