As this week is Woodland’s STEM week we are focusing on science, technology, engineering and maths in class.

Reading books this week are Non-fiction with a STEM focus.  Children reading the Hen Who Wouldn’t Give Up will continue with it next week and will also be given a non-fiction book this week.

Explore the features of non fiction books and choose parts to read.

Spelling/ Sounds – continued from last week ways to make E sound – ey, ee, ea and e_e.

Reminder

From Thursday children can come to school wearing plain jogger bottoms, polo shirt and trainers for PE and keep this on all day.

This is to ensure children get maximum time with the sports coach.

This is only for our Thursday PE day on Monday children can change into gym kit in class as usual.
