Thank you  to all who were able to visit us in class today. We enjoyed all the help with our Chinese New Year posters.

In ICT we were researching information about Chinese New Year.

We were working on our five and ten times tables in maths today.

Spelling 

We have been working on the spelling pattern tch e.g catch, pitch, fetch.

Today we had a visit from the author Chris Duke who was sharing his book Lucy’s Blue Day.  We really enjoyed the story and wrote a recount of the author visit back in class.

We were working on the tch spelling pattern this morning. It is in words like – watch,  pitch,  switch.

P3 have been given a new homework grid and common word list for the term.  Remember to bring homework in on a Monday as you complete.

Spelling

We have been working on the spelling pattern dge e.g judge, fridge, hedge.

In PE today we started to work on our hockey skills. We practised holding the hockey stick and dribbling the ball.

We wrote sequenced instructions in writing today outlining how to wash our hands properly. Yesterday we used  gel on our hands and put them under a special light to show how quickly germs spread and how hard it is to wash them off properly.

We had fun in some of the new areas in the Learning Zone today.
