Thank you to the NSPCC who talked to us this morning with Buddy and spoke to us about the message ‘Speak Out Stay Safe’. We then made posters in class to remind others of this important message.

In ICT we used the hour of code site to try coding. We selected and ordered instructions for the game flappy code.

Spelling

Practise spelling contractions e.g don’t, we’re, I’m.  Think about the two words that make the contraction and letter(s) that are taken away when the contraction is formed.  Be careful to place apostrophe where letters are missing.

Today we had a visit in assembly from the British Transport Police to talk to us about railway safety.

We used the talking dice to create a class story. Then we  wrote our own stories using the dice which we shared with our talk time partners.

In ICT we researched rainforest animals and then we shared what we learned with the class.

In literacy we were practising spelling words that are contractions e.g don’t, we’re, I’m.  We were looking for contractions in our reading book and putting two words together to make contractions.
