We enjoyed our activities tasks to practise different types of learning. Each day our group changes tasks.

This week our shared reading text on Bug Club is Opposites Attract.  You can listen or read the book by logging in to your Active Learn account.

Dot and Tod are both magnets, and they like collecting things, but they do not like each other at all! One day, Dot and Tod spot something they both want to collect, and realise they have something in common. Dot and Tod become friends. This book introduces the concept of magnetism. It also deals with the themes of friendship between people who are different, and realising we have more in common than we may think.

We worked with Mrs Davidson this morning completing a word hunt and had some fun in the sun.

We worked in our reading groups to practise our comprehension skills.

It is Roald Dahl day on Sunday 13th September. To celebrate we had fun activities in class. We painted enormous crocodiles, drew along to Quentin Blake drawing Willy Wonka and had a Roald Dahl Quiz.

We wrote fantastic descriptions of the planets  we created.

We enjoyed some fun maths activities today.
