We worked hard on our reading and spelling today.

We had a super Halloween fun day! Enjoy your weekend.

We had fun creating our spooky skeletons.

We wrote about and painted  Haunted Houses for Halloween.

We still managed to have some fun during a drizzly outdoor PE.

• Homework has been posted on teams- well done to everyone who has manged to get on and return homework.
• Reading books have been allocated on Active Learn to practise reading at home.

• PE days are Tuesday (outdoor PE) and Wednesday (yoga in the hall) on these days children can wear plain leggings/joggers and trainers and school t-shirt.  Thank you to everyone who remembered last week.
• This week is the  parent consultations which will be conducted by telephone throughout the week.  You will have received a text informing you which day you will receive your call, all calls will be between the hours of 3.30pm and 4.30pm. The call will appear as no caller ID on your phone. This will be an opportunity to chat and  update you on how your child has settled back into school and for you to ask any questions you may have.
• This Friday we will be having some Halloween fun and it will be a dress up day in school.  Children can come wearing a costume and will enjoy some Halloween activities with their class throughout the day. Lunch that day have a special Halloween theme and there will be some special treats in class too. Please choose costumes carefully – nothing too scary and no props as these will be easily lost of broken

We worked hard today practising spelling our common words.

Today we were reading in our groups.

We really enjoyed doing our yoga in the hall this morning.

We began addition and subtraction in number by exploring number facts.  If we know 3+4=7 then we know 4+3=7,  7-4=3 and7-3=4.
