We had a super start to the day winning the cool class cup at assembly. We enjoyed some more sports as part of sports week. This afternoon we explored how to be Sun safe.

We completed number activities in his afternoon to practise our skills.

Just a reminder next week the children will be taking part in sports activities Mon- Thurs. These will hopefully be outdoors so trainers, leggings/ joggers can be worn. School T-shirt/ jumpers  as normal. Thanks

We were using dictionaries today to find the meaning of words in our reading books.

We explored silent letters as part of our spelling today. We focused on words that had a silent k eg knight, knee, knife.

For literacy we looked at book titles and discussed whether we thought they were going to be fiction or non-fiction explaining our reasons.

We explored times tables using array patterns and made cards for Eid.

This morning we were exploring quarters by folding, drawing and writing.

We continued looking at pop art this afternoon and created our own paintings choosing colours to reflect this style.
