We were learning about St Andrew’s Day today.  We read the story of St Andrew, wrote about what we learned and made Scottish Saltires.

Today we watched and listened to the song we are learning Makaton signs for.

We have been learning about different aspects of safety for health and well-being this week.

Yesterday we were practising our oa sound for spelling.

We talked about how to cross the road safely and ordered the steps.

We redesigned the front cover of a book we chose as part of book week activities.

We enjoyed describing characters for writing today.

We talked about bullying as part of anti-bullying week. Some of us wore odd socks today and we all designed our own.

We have been following the five to thrive Children in Need activities this week and enjoying Joe Wick’s energiser activities.

Each day has had a different focus.

Tomorrow the  children can come to school wearing yellow, spots or anything Pudsey related! Children will enjoy some fun activities in class and learn about the work Children In Need do to help others.

On this day children do not need to bring any money, instead a small donation will be made from the school on their behalf.
