Today we worked on our question skills. What words and punctuation we use in questions. We then made questions to ask P3A as part of a virtual meeting on teams and we answered their questions too. It was great fun!

This week is Maths Week Scotland. Sumdog are running a maths competition until Thurday – for homework this week please try to login and play Sumdog Maths at home.
Please note as this is a shorter week we are not doing a shared text however reading will continue as normal in class. I will allocate a new reading book next week using Bug Club.
This morning we made flags to wave as we enjoyed walking our mile around the school for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Then we had a fantastic afternoon enjoying our Cool Class Cup treat of a movie and a treat.
We enjoyed our activities tasks to practise different types of learning. Each day our group changes tasks.

Dot and Tod are both magnets, and they like collecting things, but they do not like each other at all! One day, Dot and Tod spot something they both want to collect, and realise they have something in common. Dot and Tod become friends. This book introduces the concept of magnetism. It also deals with the themes of friendship between people who are different, and realising we have more in common than we may think.
We worked with Mrs Davidson this morning completing a word hunt and had some fun in the sun.
