We were practising writing  numbers 11-19 as words today.  We were careful not to confuse our teen and ty numbers eg thirteen and thirty.

Today we were practising our capital letters and lowercase letters on our whiteboards. Mrs Davidson was very impressed with how lovely and neat our writing is.

We have been learning about the planets and today we created our own Solar System Artwork.

Today we did our PE in class as it was so wet outside. We enjoyed some yoga together.

We used our Book Bug Shared Book ‘Adventure Through The Ages’ to write a retell. We split our writing into parts for  the beginning, middle and end.

For health and well-being we were discussing what being a good friend means and how we are good friends to each other.

As we are unable to send home reading books at the moment we are using Bug Club reading materials in class which can be accessed online at home.

I have allocated the book we read together as a class for you to read at home.  When we start working in reading groups the book that will be allocated will reflect your reading level.

We finished our class charter today by each making ourselves using our paper cutting skills .

We practised using our sounds to spell words.
