Morning p1/2
I hope you enjoyed the start of our Health and Wellbeing week yesterday.
Remember: your brainπ§ Β works better when your body and mind are healthy!
Today I thought we could do some work on our emotions and feelings.Β
It is so important to talk openly about how we are feeling – this helps us recognise and understand different emotions.Β
Warm Up:
-
Listen to this song all about feelings
-
Listen to this story ‘The Colour Monster’ by Anna Llenas
Main Activity:
-
How many different emotions/feelings can think of?
-
Have a look at the worksheet below – can you match the picture with the feeling? You can just talk about it, you don’t need to write anything down.Β
-
Make a list, or talk to someone, about:
5 things that make you happy |
4 things that worry you |
3 things that make you laugh |
2 things that make you sad |
1 thing that makes you angry |
Fun Finisher:
-
Just like in the worksheet below, pick four feelings and draw a face to show what that feeling would look like.
-
You could try and get someone in your house to guess the feeling by just looking at the faces you drew!
-
Afterwards, give an example of a time when you have experienced each of the feelings you drew.
Game to Support Learning:Β
-
Watch this video and play along at guessing how the girl is feeling….
