Number Bond Wednesday
Today we are going to do some work on our number bonds. Remember, a number bond is an addition sum that we can recall and answer really quickly.
If we know our number bonds off by heart, it helps us as we start to work with bigger numbers.
Warm Up:

Main Activity:
Primary 1 Number Bond Worksheet

Complete the addition sums below in your jotter. Try and answer the number bond sums quickly, without using your fingers!

If you need to use your fingers remember to always take the big number and add on the small number.
Primary 2 Missing Number Bond Worksheet

Fill in the missing number to complete the number bond sum. Try and recall your number bond facts without having to use your fingers.

If you need to use you fingers, remember to put the number in your pocket and count on until you reach the answer.
Extra Challenge:

Look at the picture below. Choose a number and write it in the middle of a your flower and then write all the different adding sums that make that number in the petals – remember we call all the different ways to make a number our ‘Number Story‘.
