Everyone had lots of fun at today’s Christmas party! Lots of dancing, karaoke, games and eating & drinking 💃🏻 🎉. Thank you to everyone for contributing to the party food and drink😊🎅🏼🥳. P6/7 also has their chocolate covered Oreos.

Today, P6/7 continued to write their Christmas stories and were redrafting them into a book to read to P2/3 and P3 🎅🏼 ⛄. They also made their own Oreo Santa Pop.

Today P6/7 read with their reading buddies, demonstrating some of our skills for good communication.
P7’s presented their political parties and explained their policies to Miss Park, she was very impressed 🌟

For our school show, pupils from both years groups must bring in black bottoms (this can be in the form of school trousers/ skirt, jeans, leggings etc).

We are also looking for donations of food and drink for the P6/7 Christmas party on Tuesday 10th December. Please send in juice, individual crisps, shop bought cakes, fun size or sweets .

Today, we were reading more of the BFG.

P6 have been doing reading buddies and P7 worked with all the P7s to learn about Parliament.

“Today we were completing the task of ‘I see, I think, I Wonder’. We were doing this for our Christmas story, to give us ideas. We watched Christmas adverts.” – S

Today we have been learning more about Climate Change. We found it very interesting discussing what we can do to help. Ask us at home for some suggestions which can help! We then played a game of Kahoot in pairs, testing our knowledge. 

P6/7 have been focussing on using paint and pastel to create atmosphere. We have created Halloween pictures and using silhouettes to create a war memorial picture for Remembrance Day ❤️

Three of our P7 pupils read out the poem “Flanders Fields” and performed it excellently 🌟

Today P6/7 began gymnastics. We were exploring how to use the equipment to showcase jumps, rolls, balances and climbing. Here are some shots in action!
