This week our mini topic is ‘Emotions’, looking at the characters from the film Inside Out. Today we looked at the colour wheel and thought about the relationship between colour, memories and emotions. We then created colourful emotion self portraits🌈

Welcome back, I hope you all had a great weekend! Over the past couple of weeks we have been revising our maths skills and learning more about place value. Today we practised rounding in 100’s and played active maths games as a class to practise our times tables 😊
Today in Primary 5 we started our new maths topic – information handing. We learned all about what information is and discussed different types of information. We went outside to the outdoor classroom to practise gathering different types of information about our class.
Next we came indoors and recorded data about eye colours in our class using tally marks. We know that tally marks are an easy way to quickly record our data.
Together we chose our values to create our class charter. Primary 5 have decided that we will listen, keep ourselves and others safe, and act with kindness inside and out of the classroom. It has been lots of fun making our charter!
Some of the amazing work from our getting to know you health and wellbeing activities, including creating our own Gods and Goddesses and writing letters to the teacher. This is our ‘What A Good One Looks Like’ wall!
