This week Woodlands primary have been focusing on the emergency services. So far Primary 5 have learned more about what to do in an emergency, the role of the police and the role of paramedics. We have been learning about first aid and using different scenarios to role play.
I hope everybody had a great weekend! Primary 5 have been given homework jotters Β and log in cards today for the start of our weekly homework, these jotters can stay at home as we will access everything online. Today we logged in on the smart board so the children know how to access the homework, if any further support is needed please see the guide of Woodlands main blog or feel free to ask any questionsΒ π π
This afternoon primary 5 created some amazing endangered animal art using our mindfulness zentangle techniques. It was a fun relaxing afternoon to end a good week! π π¨
Today the sun came out for our outdoor PE! Everyone had lots of fun Β racing and jumping over obstacles πββοΈ πββοΈ

This afternoon we acted out our animal adverts we have been making. There has been lots of amazing partner work and really creative ideas, making our adverts has been lots of fun! βοΈπΏ

We spent this afternoon with Mr Green exploring Article 3.Β Article 3 states that all adults must act in the best interests of children at all times. We recorded some of things that adults at Woodlands Primary do to help us, some we enjoy and some we donβt.
But we know that decisions are made to keep us safe and healthy and to help us learn.
