P5 enjoyed watching Scotland play this afternoon, with LM getting particularly excited

As P5 won the cool class cup last week, after our morning of maths and literacy we watched a film as our treat

On Monday afternoon we will be watching the Scotland game . Please remember, pupils are still to wear uniform rather than any football colours

This afternoon P5 edited and illustrated their endangered animal poems, they look amazing!

After learning about narrative poetry and reading some examples, P5 planned and started writing their own poems about an endangered animal . There were lots of excellent  examples of rhyming and meaningful narratives

Primary 5 finished their comic books this afternoon, they look amazing!

Tomorrow P5 will be spending an hour at the park, please wear sun lotion if you can and maybe bring a hat!

When asked what experiment they’d like to try, P5 chose elephant toothpaste We learned the science behind the chemical reaction before trying it out

Today was the last day of health week, and we announced the winners of the P5 Olympics. Everyone did so well and had lots of fun!

For literacy this morning we learned more about making inferences before planning and writing comic book strips They are turning out so well!

In maths we have been learning more about fractions, most recently equivalent fractions Please remember to try the sumdog class competition which is aimed at practising division skills used in fractions

This week is health week We’ll be outside part of every day so please bring a waterproof jacket if you can

Today we had some wacky races which P5 enjoyed and found very funny!

Today we finished off our Great Wave collage paintings, well done P5!
