Primary 5/6 have been creating our class charter, we were finding the articles which are most important to us within our class and school and matching the rights to our responsibilities.
We have also been using paint to select the colours which represent our emotions. Â Wait till you see our finished project!
In PE we were working on our team work skills. We have been making a bigger attempt to be supportive, encouraging and motivating to our peers. We then moved on to practising our dribbling skills to ensure we have control of the ball.
Primary 5/6 have been focusing on our health topic about our emotions. We used Rileyâs islands of personalities from âInside Outâ to create our own. We realised that everyoneâs islands were different because we all like different things, however some we all had in common because family and friends are important to us â¤ď¸.
We have also been playing bingo to practise our quick recall of table facts, number bonds and addition and subtraction calculations đ¤Šđđź. Huge well done to our fab winners!
Today P5/6 began their mini topic of emotions. We are going to be focussing on our feelings and linking it to the film Inside Out đĽ.
We brainstormed all the feelings we could think of and then categorised them in to positive feelings, negative feelings and found some that depends on the situation.
We then categorised feelings under the 5 characters from inside out: Sadness, Joy, Anger, Disgust and Fear.
We began designing our art piece which will express and show our feelings through shape, line, pattern and colour.
Miss Park canât wait to see the finished pieces! đđ¤Šđđźđ
Last week, P5/6 participated in our first PE lesson. We got to choose our favourite games to play to work on our team work skills. We chose duck, duck, goose for our warm up game and also played only octopus and the  dodgeball.
Please remember, our PE days are Mondayâs and Wednesdayâs. If possible, please remember to bring a change of clothes and a water bottle.
We have been working hard in maths, showing our previous knowledge of place value. We participated in stations, practising partitioning, ordering and revising our number bonds. Miss Park was very impressed đ.
