Before Science this afternoon we spent some time learning the BSL alphabet and spelling our names. It’s been a great week, have a nice weekend!
As a class we have been reading ‘Sean and the Sea-maiden’, a story from our Bug Club text Myths of the Sea.
Today Primary 5 predicted endings of the story in comic book format and we had time to show some amazing comic strips to the class.
Today we learned about the rotation of the planets around the sun and painted the solar system representing the planets in orbit!
Today we started our first mini topic chosen by Primary 5 – The Planets. We have been inventing our own planets and using our researching skills.
Today we reflected on our week using our wellbeing wheel. There were lots of positive discussions and good partner work! See you next week!
Together we chose our values to create our class charter. Primary 5 have decided that we will listen, keep ourselves and others safe, and act with kindness inside and out of the classroom. It has been lots of fun making our charter!
Some of the amazing work from our getting to know you health and wellbeing activities, including creating our own Gods and Goddesses and writing letters to the teacher. This is our ‘What A Good One Looks Like’ wall!
The kids have loved being back to school and spending time getting to know each other. Have a great weekend, I’m really excited to see you all next week!
