P5 have been learning about the features of news reports. Today we wrote lots of exciting reports on an event happening in the class book ‘The Iron Man’ . There are lovely displays on the wall and some children became news readers to share their stories

This afternoon we learned more about eco systems before creating our own mini ecosystems, I hope they grow! We also painted some mini logs to decorate the classroom, unique to each child

Today we managed to get outdoors before it got too rainy to learn how to play golf

We are focusing on multiplication in maths, learning the 6 and 8x tables. Remember, top marks and sumdog are excellent ways to practise maths skills at home!

This afternoon we were learning more about dwarf planets for our space topic

We had a great sunny day for comic relief and spent most of our day outside in the sun

It’s been great to have everyone back in class again! we’ve been making the most of the sun with lots of time spent outdoors today
