Bubbles!

Last week children had great fun outdoors playing in the lovely weather. Children are really enjoying playing on the balance bikes.

We were also learning about the importance of exercise and brushing our teeth. Children made their own planet pictures and had a special space snack of different coloured wraps.

Health Week

Today we were focusing on the importance of keeping our teeth clean. We then brushed our teeth. For snack we had special ‘space wraps!’ We had fun outdoors and in the afternoon we made giant bubbles. Tomorrow is the Pre school transition lunch with parents at 12.30

Health week

This week is Health Week in school and nursery. We have been focusing so far on healthy eating and hygiene. Yesterday children’s challenge was to try some space foods ( puréed fruits and vegetables). Outdoors we had the balance bikes out in the afternoon and children were also creating their own planet using collage.

NB Thursday 24th ( tomorrow) is the Pre entrant Lunch at 12.30 for children starting P1 next term.

Transition Visits

Today children  who will be going to Woodlands Primary school this year visited P1. They all did really well. They listened to a story, sequenced a story and played outside in the P1 playground. All the children had a picnic snack in the sun!

A busy day!

Yesterday children had fun acting out the story of Jack and the Beanstalk using masks and playing outdoors where children worked with our student Miss Lamb to draw their bodies and working with numbers. For snack they had breadsticks with fruit.

Jack and the Beanstalk

Today children were acting out parts of the story from Jack and The Beanstalk. Their literacy challenge is to recall the story and for maths to order the size  of different pictures from the story.  Children were also planting outdoors. Cereal for snack today.

Stay and Play on Wednesday and P1 visit also on Wednesday.
