Nursery Lunch Menu WB. 24th August
Welcome Back!
It has been lovely seeing all of the children settling back into nursery! We have missed them!
As children are in full days (and we can’t easily share information in the cloakroom) I thought it would be useful to share with you the lunch menu.
Next week’s menu will be:
Monday – Pizza
Tuesday – Sausages and diced potatoes
Wednesday – Fish Fingers
Thursday – Tuna or cheese sandwiches
Friday – Lentil Soup with chicken/cheese sandwiches
Children will also still get a small snack in the morning and the afternoon.
Holiday & Inservice
Just a reminder that the school & nursery will be closed on Monday 6th May for a holiday & will be closed to all pupils on Tuesday 7th of May for an Inservice Day.
Stay & Play Sessions
Parents/Carers are invited to the Nursery this Wednesday 1.5.19 for a Stay & Play Session with your child.
AM – 10.45 – 11.45
PM – 3.00 – 4.00

Primary 1 Induction
Information has now been sent to all Primary 1 new-starts. We look forward to working with the children on their ‘Growing Together’ project over the next 5 weeks.
Visit 1-4 children should be dropped off. On visit 5 parents are asked to attend an information session & then to have lunch with their child.
Fun in nursery!
Today children were digging in the sand and learning to balance on scooters outdoors. They enjoyed homemade lentil soup for snack and were learning about the letters in their names. In construction a t-Rex was built and children were pouring and exploring the properties of water.
A busy day in nursery.
Yesterday children had lots of fun playing together, sharing resources and exploring different materials in lots of different areas of the nursery.
Lots to learn in nursery!
Yesterday children were busy mark making on the ipad, creating pictures using hammered shapes, creating Chinese fans and looking for numbers outdoors. NB The nursery is closed on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
Lots to do in nursery!
Today children had lots of fun in nursery. Outdoors they were playing in the sand, water, digging and chalking. Indoors they had fun playing games, completing jigsaws, writing and making Chinese lanterns for Chinese New Year. They had home made lentil soup for snack.
