Yesterday  we began a programme of transition to P1 activities. Each group will have a play time with the P1 children in the Learning Zone over a period of two weeks, alternating between Am and Pm children. Children will become familiar with some of the P1 routines such as planning and choosing area for play. Today it was the turn of The Elephant group Am.

Thursday is World Book Day. All parents/ careers should have a letter with a voucher attached.

Wednesday is gym day in nursery. Children were using mats and benches to move  across. They all did really well.

Children have been learning about patterns and shapes. They had fun outdoors, finding and recognising numbers, playing in our sandpit and on the climbing frame.

In the morning we did  count down spelling and after that we went to ict.
