Yesterday children had a great day. They were making 3 D model planes as well as continuing with  People Who Help Us. Snack was potato scones with cheese and fruit.

Children are enjoying role playing different people who help us. During group times children have been talking in more depth about how the Police can help us.

Today children had lots of fun role playing People Who Help Us, exploring shapes and we also had a visit from the Oral Health Officer to help children brush their teeth! Our song for the week is Miss Polly Had A Dolly and our story for this topic is Zoe and The Flying Doctors.

Today children were having fun playing with 3 D shapes to create models. They were also developing their pencil control through painting and playing with different writing resources. Outdoors they had great fun splashing in puddles as they explored some of the properties of water. Snack today was ham or cheese rolls with fruit.

Our new theme is People Who Help Us. We have a Dr Surgery in the role play area and children have been playing with the Play Mobile Police Station and other related resources.  Our song of the week is Miss Polly Had A Dolly displayed in the Cloakroom. Children also had some more fun n the snow!

Children had a lovely day in nursery playing in the snow with sledges

and making snowmen!

Today the Elephant group helped to make pancakes for the nursery snack. They were yummy! Other groups were focusing on letters, sounds, rhymes and shapes. We have a new topic which is People Who Help Us and we are beginning with having a Dr’s Surgery in the role play area.

Today children had gym time  and had great fun moving like animals. At group time children were looking for their favourite numbers and writing some numbers.Others were looking at letters and sounds. For snack they had yogurts, fruit and a cracker.
