Active Schools NLC are running  #ActiveEveryDay during the month of FEBRUARY

The #ActiveEveryDay challenge starts and will run through the full month of February. That means there will be 28 challenges to complete in 28 days.

As you are aware there were issues with Tuesday’s P7 information evening in that there was a limit to the number of participants that could participate in the meeting. Greenfaulds High School would like to  pass on their apologies to any of the parents who were unable to get in to the meeting.

Cluster Challenge

Primary 1 enrolment

A reminder that enrolment for new Primary 1 children starting in August 2021 is now available and will be submitted electronically this year. This means that children who attain the age of 5 between 1 March 2021 and 28 February 2022 should register for starting Primary 1 in August 2021.

All completed enrolment forms must be submitted by 22nd January 2021. You must also submit a copy of your child’s birth certificate and a copy of your council tax/utility bill. This can be in the form of a screenshot or a scanned document. Please click the link to the enrolment form below.

Please note that you MUST enrol at your catchment school even if you wish your child to attend a different school. In this case a placing request form also needs to be submitted.

Outdoor Challenge PDF

The Greenfaulds Primary Cluster are taking part in a Cluster Outdoor Challenge. You can share pictures of your outdoor adventures on Microsoft Teams with  your teacher or tag us on twitter at @WoodlandsCnauld with the #outdoorchallenge.

North Lanarkshire Council have set up online virtual classrooms for all NLC children to access.

This is completely voluntary and should be used to supplement the work given by Woodlands Primary School. Do access these you will need to join the NL Virtual Classroom team.

This can be done by clicking on the join team button the top right-hand corner of the Teams page. You then enter the code r0f8wg2.

On a mobile device you can click on teams button at the bottom of the screen, then click on the + button located on the top right hand side and it will give you the option to join a team with a code.

Each primary stage has its own classroom, which are coloured coded. See below for your child’s colour.
