We have been practising the poem “Crocodile” by J.K. Annand.    We have learned some Scottish words.

“doukin” meaning splashing and “muckle” meaning enormous.

We are busy researching Scottish Castles.   Here is what we found out about castles.

“Castles have turrets and battlements,”  says Lewis.

“Castles have very thick walls,” says Emilie.

“The turrets have pointed roofs,” says Summer.

“Castles sit high up on a hill,” says Lauren.
