S2 – This week’s work focuses on the Nutrient of Protein. Please read and listen to the PowerPoint and complete the Protein task sheet. Remember to submit your work to your teacher.

S3 Practical Cookery  –Use the recipes  provided to make the carrot & coriander soup and Victoria Sponge.  Remember to take pictures and submit them to your teacher.

***Due to timetabling, 3G should focus on making 1 recipe this week and 1 recipe next week***

S3 Health & Food Technology – Listen to the recorded PowerPoint on  organisations that protect consumers. Complete the following task: Research the following consumer organisations and describe how they protect the consumer: Environmental Health Department, Trading Standards Department, Food Standards Scotland, Consumers Association Citizens’ Advice Bureau

You can make individual task cards for each organisation, display your findings using a mind map layout or simply write notes for each organisation.

S4 & S5/6 Health & Food Technology – Pupils are working through exam style questions. They are developing their skills of question techniques and using command words correctly to access all the marks available. While also reviewing their knowledge of three units covered. This work helps identify if any areas need to be revisited in preparation for assessment.

S4 & S5/6 Practical cookery – Our senior practical cookery pupils should remember to attend school for their practical session.
