All classes have finished unit 2 key area 6. Pupils should complete and submit their assignment before next Friday 12/2. Past papers on 2.6 can be found at the end of the PowerPoint 2.6 in class notebooks – please try these questions during Thursday and Friday next week.

Reminder that the instructions for every weeks work are detailed in the Sway posted on each Class Team.
A recorded lesson on the topic of acceleration is available on the Live Lessons team. This should be watched and relevant notes taken, with a focus on the Success Criteria.
The relevant problems as highlighted in the Sway should be attempted from the Problem Booklets.
The quiz available within the assignments tab should be completed and submitted by Friday 5th February.

Higher Physics
A recorded lesson on the Standard Model is available on the Live Lessons team. This should be watched, and the relevant section of the Summary Notes (part 2) to be read and relevant notes taken, with emphasis on the Success Criteria.
A quiz on the Standard Model is available within the assignments tabs of each Class Team.

- Pupils will complete cell structure mindmap to recap previous work.
- There will be a tutorial on Tuesday at 9:45-10.30- where pupils will be asked about their understanding of cell structure and be introduced to cell division.
- Pupils will have the rest of the week to read through PowerPoint taking notes and making flash cards for the stages of cell division.
- Cell structure and cell division worksheet should be completed in their class notebook by the end of day on Thursday.
- Finally, on Friday, pupils can complete the cell division mindmap, again in their class notebook.
WB 01/02/21 S3 Biology
Students should finish their summary notes and the work set on the teams post last week.
Week beginning 01/02/21 AH Biology
This week the class will be taking part in live lessons to learn the stages of meiosis. Pupils will also work on some essay tasks throughout the week.
WB- 01/02/21 Higher Human Biology
Students have been asked to work through the two sets of past papers on Unit 2 key area 6 before Tuesday. A tutorial will take place on Wednesday during periods 2 and 3 to go over solutions to the past paper questions. Pupils should work through the PowerPoints covering regulation of the heart and blood pressure, completing all pupil notes and doing homework 7 before the live lesson on Friday, periods 1 and 2.
WB 25/01/21 – Higher Human Biology
Following on from Friday’s live lesson on “The Conducting System of the Heart” pupils should complete Homework 6 – Q10 and all pupil notes on key area 2.6 (P73-75) including the terms 8-10 in before Tuesday 26th.
A tutorial on Wednesday 27th period 3 will give pupils some time to complete essays on the Cardiac Cycle and the conducting system of the heart.
All pupils will be expected to submit this week’s assignment before Thursday 28th.
