S3 are continuing to work on the healthy living topic this week. Mrs Bell has posted the answers to the reading passage set for last week.  Please have a look at the answers and message your teachers if you have any questions at all.

More work on healthy lifestyle has been posted today, on our glow page and on Edmodo, and is due on Friday as usual. Please send your work to your teachers by then. There is also an Edmodo quiz due for Friday of this week.

S2 have been working on the helping in the house and free time topic for a few weeks.

Last week, S2 also took part in a Spanish Challenge and some of their amazing work can be seen in the video below:

This week, pupils will do a Chilli Challenge where they will complete a reading activity and a writing piece about free time and helping in the house. They will also go on virtual holiday to Madrid or Havana.

This week we are also introducing personal descriptions, with some different tasks to complete on this topic. Please send your work to your teachers by Friday and message if you have any questions at all! Have a good week!

S2 are helping in the house this week! Please take the Edmodo quiz by Friday to check how you are getting on with this topic. Many pupils have taken the quiz already and have done very well!

S2 are also taking part in the Great Spanish Language Challenge this week, which consists of different activities relating to Spanish culture. You should send your research to your teachers by Friday and we look forward to seeing what you have done! Have a good week!

This week, S1 are working on telling the time in Spanish. All work can be found on Edmodo and the Modern Languages glow page. There will be an Edmodo quiz at the end of the week to check how you are all getting on!

S1 will also take part in a Disney Spanish Challenge this week, where you will choose a movie to watch, one that you have on DVD, or maybe you have Disney+. You can then do the tasks related to each movie! If you don’t have access to any of the movies you could use youtube to try and find songs from one of the movies in a different language! Please send your work to your teachers by Friday.

By now this group should have submitted their Creative Essay for marking.  This essay will be submitted to S.Q.A. in Spring 2021 and will be part of their writing folio.

This group should now start working on the Scottish play “Sailmaker” by Alan Spence.  All students have a copy avaiblale to them although it might be helpful to have a print copy to make notes students develop their knowledge of the play and its characters.

 

By now this class should have submitted their Creative essay for marking.  This essay will be part of their writing folio which will be submitted to the S.Q.A in Spring 2021.

This week they should start thinking about their Spoken Presnetation which has to be passed in order to be presented for the exam.  I have posted Talking Milestones 7 & 8 on the website & Edmodo.  Students should work through Milestone 7 this week to refresh the skills and knowledge developed in Milestones 1-6.
