Higher Spanish

This week we will complete Directed Writing Sample 3 from the booklet. Pupils should attempt to write their own essay closed book. We will also be revising the Conditional tense from the grammar booklet.

National 5

National 5 classes should be continuing to work through Learning powerpoint and booklet. Classes should also be working on learning Job Application vocabulary from the Directed Writing folder.

S2 Spanish

This week S2 are working on vocabulary related to what activities they do in their bedrooms. Vocabulary and tasks can be found on Donde Vives PowerPoint as well as additional worksheets in Vivimos en Europa folder.

S1 Spanish

This week S1 will be doing Reading and Writing assessments on the topic of Bienvenidos. Pupils should revise topic at home using resources in Files and vocabulary in jotters. Anyone absent this week will catch up on assessments upon their return to school.

S4 N4 English

Pupils are working through Outcome 1 in their Creation and Production Unit. Materials are on MS Teams and pupils should check their Teacher’s Channel for updates.

S5/6 (N5) English

Pupils will be revising their critical essay text ‘Mid-Term Break’ in preparation for their monthly assessment. We will focus on analysing Word Choice and Imagery. Revision Powerpoints can be found in the ‘Mid-Term Break’ folder on MS Teams and pupils are encouraged to work through these slides.

S4 (N5) English

Pupils should be working towards completing their critical essay on ‘A Hanging’. Materials for this work can be found on the Files section on Teams. See your Teacher’s Channel on MS Teams for guidance and work posted.

S3 English

Pupils should finish off their Fearless animation and then produce the press release to go with it. Once completed, try designing a Fearless Animation encouraging young people to report illegal firework sales/use, using the same principles. Fearless materials can be found in the ‘Advertising Unit’ folder on MS Teams.

S2 English

Classes should finish writing their story on a “Hidden Talent.” All materials are in MS Teams and finished stories should be written in red writing jotters or typed and stapled into red jotters.
