This week S3 are continuing to work on vocabulary relating to Jobs. Pupils should be working through the PowerPoint, covering the vocabulary relating to where people work and who/ what they work with. Pupils should also complete the En que trabajas task in the Job vocabulary folder.
S2 Spanish
This week S2 are working on discussing their daily routine in Spanish, including telling the time. All pupils should have completed up to slide 140 in the Donde Vives PowerPoint by the end of the week.
S1 Spanish
This week S1 are beginning their new topic Mi familia. Pupils should work through the first few slides of the Mi familia y yo PowerPoint relating to countries and nationalities.
Higher English
Classes should revise their critical essay text for their assessment on Monday 30 November. Pupils should check their teacher’s individual channel on MS Teams for any work posted.
S5/6 N5 English
Classes should work through the slides on ‘Sailmaker’ using their teacher’s PPT in the ‘Class Materials’ folder on MS Teams. You should use the pdf copy of the text if you are working at home.
RUAE Homework is due for Monday 30 November. The booklet can be found in ‘Class Materials’ in the ‘RUAE Homework’ folder and pupils should complete the 5 ‘In Your Own Words’ questions on pages 3 and 4. Any questions, please message your teacher.
Pupils should also be revising their critical essay text ‘Mid-Term Break’ for their assessment on Monday 30 November.
S4/N5 English
Classes should be preparing for their critical essay assessment on Wednesday 25th November. There will be two questions and pupils should undertake one in the 45 minutes. Make sure you know the text well and have learned your quotes. Please check your teacher’s channel on MS Teams for any work posted.
S4/N4 English
Classes will finish complete their persuasive adverts and undertake some more RUAE practice (Slide 46 of the PPT). This is on MS Teams in ‘Class Materials’. Pupils will continue with the rest of the novel and undertake their National 4 RUAE Assessment on Thursday afternoon.
S3 English
Classes should continue working through the ‘Basking Shark’ unit which is on MS Teams under ‘Class Materials’. Pupils should check their teacher’s channel on Teams for relevant updates on which slides they should complete up to. Any questions, please message your teacher.
Mr Kedra’s class should continue working through their poetry unit on ‘Flannan Isle’, checking Teams for guidance on slides and tasks.
S2 English
Classes should continue working through the poetry unit on MS Teams. The PPT can be found in ‘Class Materials’ and pupils should check the MS Teams page for guidance on which slides they should complete for their return to school.
S1 English
Classes should continue to work on their Creative Writing unit on character. The PPT can be found in MS Teams in ‘Class Materials’ and pupils should make sure they have completed up to slide 25.
