This week S3 are preparing for and undertaking speaking assessments on the topic of Me Presento. Pupils will be expected to answer 8 questions about themselves in Spanish. Questions can be found at the end of Me Presento PowerPoint on Teams along with sample answers.
S2 Spanish
This week S2 are learning about using adjectives to describe the different parts of the house. Work from Donde Vives PowerPoint on Teams.
S1 Spanish
This week S1 are revising the topic of Bienvenidos in preparation for a Reading and a Writing assessment which will take place over the next 2 weeks. Teachers will inform their individual classes of the dates for the assessments. Revision material can be found in Bienvenidos folder on Teams as well as going over class notes in jotters.
Higher Spanish
This week we are working on the topic of relationships and friends. We will also be revising the future tense. All resources can be accessed via Teams.
National 5 Spanish
This week National 5 classes will be beginning the unit of work on the topic of Learning. Pupils should work through the beginning of the Learning PowerPoint on Teams and ensure they are noting all new vocabulary (using wordreference.com to find the meaning). Anyone who hasn’t completed their AVU Talking should also ensure that they are prepared to complete it as soon as possible.
S1 Spanish
This week S1 are learning vocabulary to describe what there is in the classroom. Powerpoint and additional resources are on Teams in “Bienvenidos” folder.
S2 Spanish
Over the next two weeks S2 should be working on describing the rooms which they have in their house. Powerpoint and additional resources are on Teams in “Vivimos en Europa” folder.
S3 Spanish
S3 don’t come to the Modern Languages department this week. If pupils are working on Spanish at home they should revise the topic Me Presento in preparation for an end of unit speaking assessment which will take place in the coming weeks.
S1 English
S1 will continue to work on “Spit Nolan” this week. Materials are available in MS Teams and work should be undertaken in purple jotters, picking up where they left up before the October break.
Higher English
Teachers will post work on their own channels.
