National 5 Spanish
This week pupils will be doing final preparations for their Talking Exam which will take place next week. Pupils are also doing some past paper practice.
S3 Spanish
This week, pupils are learning to use the conditional and the future tense in Spanish to discuss their future plans and aspirations.
S2 Spanish
This week, S2 are learning to describe the weather in Spanish and discuss what activities they do or places they go when the weather is a particular way.
S1 Spanish
Over the coming weeks, S1 pupils will be revising the unit “Mi Familia” which we worked on throughout the period of remote learning. This week, classes are revising vocabulary relating to family members.
N5 Spanish
Between now and Christmas classes will be focusing on starting to prepare for their Talking exam. All pupils should have a presentation prepared on the topic of school by the time we are starting back in January. Teachers will take time to explain this to their individual classes, including how to access support with this from Teams.
S3 Spanish
This week S3 are working on School and Future plans as well as learning the conditional tense. By Friday everyone should have completed the School and Future Plans reading and worked through the PowerPoint to learn to use the conditional tense. Both of these files can be found on Teams.
S2 Spanish
This week S2 are revising the topic En Casa and preparing for their Speaking Assessment. Resources to revise and help prepare speaking can be found on Teams.
S1 Spanish
For the next two weeks S1 are working on introducing family member vocabulary. By Friday 18th December all pupils should have completed up to slide 38 in the PowerPoint “Mi famila y yo” which can be found on Teams.
Higher Spanish
This week in class we are doing exam practice across all four skill areas. If working from home pupils should access Past Papers to practice. Pupils should also ensure they have prepared answers to the Talking Questions posted on Teams in preparation for practice in class.
