North Lanarkshire Council has a policy of providing free transport to all primary pupils who live more than a mile from their local school by the shortest safe walking route. Some children who live in Carnbroe and Victoria Park are entitled to free bus transport to our school. The bus picks up the children each morning. At three o’ clock, the janitor and a member of senior management collects the bus children in the hall, ensures everyone is accounted for and then escorts the children safely onto the bus.
