You need a username and password to access Glow. All pupils have already been issued with their username and password, but if you need support with this, please email Mrs Owens at NLOwensL@glow.sch.uk.
When you log in to Glow, you will see a Launch Pad similar to this:
If you look at the left hand side of the screen, you should see four icons – one for each level of the Launch Pad:
- Personal Launch Pad – This is the top icon and looks like a person. This can be customised by each individual user, or by a teacher to help a student. We would recommend that pupils should have a ‘Tile’ (or app shortcut) for the apps they use most often – particularly Mail, Office 365 and Teams.
- Establishment Launch Pad –This is the second icon, and is the default Launch Pad for each Glow establishment (in your case, it is linked to Saint Patrick’s PS). The school has already added a number of ‘Tiles’ (or shortcuts) to different apps that may be useful or interesting for our pupils.
- Local authority Launch Pad – The third icon is the Launch Pad for all schools within local authority.
- National Launch Pad (Scotland) – The last icon is available nationally and configured by Education Scotland.
