Our school was given the privilege of having the statue in our community. One of our classmates was especially happy as he took St Michael as his confirmation name.
St. Michael the Arch Angel, pray for us.

On Thursday we celebrated mass with the parish community on the feast of the Ascension. Afterwards we were joined by Stephanie and Elizabeth who led our retreat. We took part in meditation, created beautiful art work to thank god for all the special things we have in our lives and to thank God for the special people who have helped us through our primary school journey.

On Wednesday we participated in the Wear Yellow event in support of St. Andrew’s Hospice. We joined other Primary 7 pupils from, across North Lanarkshire & South Lanarkshire. The sun was shining and we enjoyed being part of this very special event.

Primary 7 joined dozens of other North Lanarkshire primaries to walk 6km around Strathclyde Park, in aid of St Andrew’s Hospice today! What an impressive achievement! We hope to have raised plenty of funds to support this very worthy cause 🤞 Well done, children!

Rooms 12 and 13 made the most of the sun and had a spirited game of ‘Kicky Rounders’ as part of this week’s PE.

The rain didn’t dampen our spirits as we participated in our community Spring clean event in Dunbeth Park. This helped to create a safe place for us to play and enjoy in the coming months. Article 31 and 19.

Today was our final Samba session. We finished off by performing our routine for our school community.

We had great fun at our St Patrick’s day concert, creating memories and having lots of fun. We sang a classic Irish song called the Wild Rover, and listened to other classes preform their Irish song.

Today we were lucky to have the Bud bus in school today. In association with Poppy Scotland we made our own Poppy, listened to veteran’s stories and enjoyed the interactive activities on board. This was a great way to learn more about our World War 2 IDL topic.
Today due to the weather we were indoors today. We were experimenting with different loose parts to create artefacts linked to our topic. We discussed the Meta-skills we used during the task.
