P7 retreat

On Thursday we celebrated mass with the parish community on the feast of the Ascension. Afterwards we were joined by Stephanie and Elizabeth who led our retreat. We took part in meditation, created beautiful art work to thank god for all the special things we have in our lives and to thank God for the special people who have helped us through our primary school journey.

The Wear Yellow Walk

On Wednesday we participated in the Wear Yellow event in support of St. Andrew’s Hospice. We joined other Primary 7 pupils from, across North Lanarkshire & South Lanarkshire. The sun was shining and we enjoyed being part of this very special event.

Spring Clean.

The rain didn’t dampen our spirits as we participated in our community Spring clean event in Dunbeth Park. This helped to create a safe place for us to play and enjoy in the coming months. Article 31 and 19.

BUD BUS VISIT

Today we were lucky to have the Bud bus in school today. In association with Poppy Scotland we made our own Poppy, listened to veteran’s stories and enjoyed the interactive activities on board. This was a great way to learn more about our World War 2 IDL topic.

Gaelic Football

Today our Gaelic football training resumed with Mr. Bradley. We were working on a variety of passing techniques and finished off our session with a highly competitive game demonstrating skill, teamwork and enthusiasm.

ICT-Lego & Coding

During our ICT session this week, our Digital Leaders shared their knowledge and expertise with their classmates to demonstrate how to combine coding with the wonderful world of Lego!

Lots of talking, listening, cooperation, reading for information and plan following on display.

We’re already looking forward to next weeks session!
