SCHOOL MEALS
All P1 to P5 pupils (and P6 & 7 pupils in receipt of free school meals) are entitled to a free school lunch up to the value of £3.40. P6 & 7 pupils who do not receive free school meals can add money to an IPayImpact account to pay for their lunches if the wish. Children’s accounts should be topped up using the iPayImpact website.(Click the link below to get started)
Children who bring packed lunches eat them in the school dining hall. Special diets are catered for and milk is available for those who wish it. The School promotes Education Scotland’s “Hungry for Success” initiative.
Only primary school children who receive a free school meal are entitled to free milk. Milk may, however, be available for purchase in the school during the lunch period.
North Lanarkshire Primary school menus change weekly, on a three week rota. Click the link and check the dates below each of the images, to see which menu applies to the current week. Please discuss these menu choices with your child so they know which meal to choose each day.
You can also use iPayImpact to make a secure online payment at any time with a debit/credit card for school meals and all other school expenses such as trips and uniform items.
Pre-order lunch
Pupils use the Fusion system to order lunch in class each morning, but you can opt to order your child’s lunch items up to 4 days in advance, by downloading and using the free Fusion mobile app. (If you are entitled to a free school meal then a daily credit of £3.40 will be added to your Fusion account.)
You can download the app from Google Play or the Apple app store.
After you have downloaded the app, you will need to create an account that can be used to pre-order your food. On the login page, tap on the Sign-up option.
Next, insert your on-boarding code. If you do not have your onboarding code please contact the school office.
Now, enter the e-mail address that you want to use for your account. Enter a password and choose a security question, providing an answer that you will remember (you’ll need this if you ever forget your password).
Tap on the register option and you’ll receive an activation email shortly after. Follow the instructions in the e-mail to complete your registration.
Once activated, you can log in to the app and start placing orders!
Free School Meals
You may be entitled to apply for free school meals if your child attends a North Lanarkshire school, and you meet the criteria shown in the table below. Click here to apply. You will need your National Insurance Number and bank details to complete the form.
Scottish Child Payment
All P6 and P7 children who receive Scottish Child Payment who do not receive free school meals under the eligibility entitlement, can apply by completing the application form. Your child can also receive free school meals if they are the subject of a kinship care, guardianship order or if they are, or have been at any point since their second birthday, ‘looked after’.

North Lanarkshire Councils website offers a ‘sign up’ facility where the weekly school menu can be emailed to you. The school operates a colour banding system that enables all children to pre-order their lunch. This ensures all children get the food of their choice and minimizes food waste. The school also operates a cashless system.
