Inverclyde – Final instalment!
4th September 2026
The rain came in sideways😂 during our lovely tree planting ceremony, as we said our goodbyes to Inverclyde National Sports Training Centre, and all of our new friends. Fantastic memories made, and some very tired children on the road home now.
Inverclyde Part 9
4th September 2026
Lacrosse, Shinty, Pickleball and Team Building for our final activities, plus a feedback session to reflect on the activities we’ve tried, and the skills we’ve developed here.
Inverclyde Part 8
4th September 2026
We’ll certainly miss these breakfasts! Our bags are packed, our rooms are immaculate (no excuses once they’re home!) and we’re raring to go for one last morning of activities.
Inverclyde Part 7
3rd September 2026
Enjoying our final evening playing some board games, movies and dodgeball with our new friends, before a last supper (brownies and milk), and heading back to our rooms to pack😢 See you all tomorrow!
Inverclyde Part 6
3rd September 2026
What a busy afternoon! A few brand new sports – Shinty, Pickleball, Lacrosse and Orienteering – for our groups, and a chance to reflect in our Learning Logs before our (final!) dinner.
Inverclyde Part 5
3rd September 2026
It’s been fabulous to get to know so many new friends from some of our Cluster schools! A busy morning full of night lines, climbing walls, team building, handball, archery, and orienteering. We’ve certainly earned our lunch today!
Inverclyde Part 4
3rd September 2026
After a great sleep all round, we are up, washed, dressed, and ready for our second day of activities! (We did have a fabulous cooked breakfast, but it was eaten so quickly, we missed the chance to take a picture!)
Inverclyde Part 3
2nd September 2026
No trip to Largs is complete without an ice-cream from Nardinis (and a visit to Magnus the Viking!) Just enough time for a spot of supper (cookies and milk) before we hit the hay!
Inverclyde Part 2
2nd September 2026
After a hard-earned lunch, we moved onto our next activities – night lines, climbing walls, archery and handball! Time for dinner!
Inverclyde Part 1
2nd September 2026
Not our average Wednesday – we spent the morning in the same gym where the Scottish Commonwealth gymnastics team train! We had a ball working on our vault, bars, and beam skills.
