School Improvement

SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN

The school is committed to a policy of continual review and development in order to plan for improvement at whole school level.

The areas to be developed on our
school improvement plan for session 2022/23 are:-

  • Increase the expertise and confidence of pupils in STEM activities
  • Raising attainment in literacy
  • Raising attainment in numeracy

In arriving at our improvement priorities we take account of North Lanarkshire’s Service Improvement Objectives, the National Concordat, the audit of the previous years Improvement Plan and consultation with staff, parents and children. We also take account of our Legislative responsibilities in respect of parental involvement, pupil involvement, health promotion, equality and Curriculum for
Excellence.

The school is committed to improving standards in relation to literacy, numeracy and health and well-being through their inclusion in the school improvement plans and a comprehensive health and well-being programme including after school clubs. The
school is committed to continual improvements.
