Friday 26th August

Primary two have been very busy since they started school last week. We have been developing our phonological awareness by learning all about our “ee” phonemes.

The theme for this term will be Scotland, our theme book will be Katie Morag and the tiresome Ted.

Welcome to Primary 6/7 with Miss Jackson

The children have all settled in well this week to their new stage and enjoying being back to a routine after their long summer break!

This week the boys and girls have been consolidating their Literacy and Numeracy as well as revising previous learning. We have been setting our new targets for the year as well.

We are looking forward to the new year ahead. It will be a very challenging and rewarding year for all the pupils, particularly those in Primary 7 who will be moving on to High School next summer.

Friday 26th August 2016

The boys and girls in Primary 4/5 have settled in very well.  We have been doing a lot of revision and will be consolidating over the next few weeks. Their new teacher is Mrs McGhee and we are looking forward to starting our theme this term, which is all about Scotland.  The pupils will be learning new things about our own culture and developing mapping skills.

Today the 21st March, the confirmandi had taken part in a silent sponsor walk to help raise funds to send two parish parishioners to Lourdes. They successfully did it!

Thank you again for sponsoring the pupils for this kind and charitable action.
