Hello from Primary two

This week Primary two have been exploring the whole school topic of France. In particular we have been investigating the famous landmarks of France.

Primary 4/5 were very excited to learn that our first Topic of the year will be France!

We cannot wait to explore the geography, food, landmarks, art and language of France, as well as compare life in France to life in Scotland.

Hello from Primary 6/7,

We are well on our way to getting back into a routine having completed our first full week. We are all well rested and ready to begin this new week.. This term some of the things we are going to be covering are:

Literacy

Reading – Novel studies (The Eleventh Orphan, Saving Finnegan and Why the Whales Came)

Taught Writing – Persuasive Writing

Spelling – Stage 6 North Lanarkshire Active Literacy spelling.

Numeracy – Place value, four operations and money.

I.D.L – This term we will be covering the whole school topic of France, looking at landmarks, cities, food, culture, festivals, French language and politics.

Hello from Primary two

This week Primary two have had fun developing their skills by participating in long jumps, obstacle courses and speed bounce games.

On our first day back, our brand new P4/5 pupils had a great time getting to know each other through our first art lesson; ‘What’s inside your brain?’

We enjoyed learning more about each other’s hobbies and interests, as well as sharing our hopes and goals.

After a long relaxing summer holiday we are very excited to find out what this year has in store for us!

Hello from Primary 2

The children are now back into the swing of school. They have settled into the class routine and are working extremely hard.

Primary two have transitioned well from Primary one and are already building on their skills.

Well Done!
