We were very lucky this week to begin a block of hockey skills training with some young sports leaders from St Ambrose High School . Over the next six weeks we will continue to develop a variety of different hockey skills while having fun at the same time !
This week the focus was on holding the hockey stick correctly and using it to successfully push the ball to a partner . We all had a very enjoyable morning.
During numeracy lessons this week the focus of our number talks was on addition and subtraction . We looked at lots of different ways we could achieve a successful answer . We are all becoming very confident explaining our workings to the rest of our peers .
