hello from Primary 6/7

We have been immersing ourselves in France this week, looking at landmarks, the 13 provinces of France and French art work. We have been learning about the life and work of Claude Monet who is a pioneer of the impressionist movement in France in the 1800s. We have been studying his work, ‘Monet’s Garden’ and recreating this famous piece using watercolours and chalk pastels to add detail. We are going to continue with our topic by looking at French history, including the French Revolution, we are certainly getting into the spirit of this topic, ‘Liberty, equality and fraternity‘
