This week in Primary Three our amazing artists put all of their work from our artist study of Georgia O’Keeffe together for a wonderful wall display.
They cut out their oil pastel leaves with jagged scissors to create a textured look, and placed them underneath their painted flowers.
As you can see we have created a beautiful garden that we think Georgia O’Keeffe herself would be proud of!
We also had a birthday celebration for a lovely classmate who was kind enough to bring in a giant cake for us all to share! There was even enough left for all the teachers to enjoy!
We finished our week today with some St. Patrick’s Day fun.
We learned all about who St. Patrick was and why he is the patron saint of Ireland. We also looked at some St. Patrick’s Day traditions from around the world, and finished up by creating our own leprechaun masks!
What a creative week we have had!
