This week we enjoyed taking part in a workshop about Weaving at Summerlee Heritage Park .
We all enjoyed learning about the process involved in making woollen thread to be use to make a kilt .
We loved having a go at weaving wool ourselves and we were delighted with the finished products .
We also enjoyed visiting the coal mines , travelling on a tram and looking at how living conditions have changed over the last century . To finish off a wonderful day we all had great fun playing in the park !
To finish the week we all enjoyed taking part in Crazy Hair day .
Hope everyone enjoys a wonderful well earned October break !
