Hello again from Primary 6!
We have had a fabulous first term and have returned after our October break energised and ready for this busy term and the run up to Christmas.
Since the last time you heard from us we were able to learn more about our IDL topic, the Rainforest. We learned about the variety of living things that can be found in this amazing ecosystem, food chains and the dangers of deforestation. Take a peek at some of the great Rainforest artwork that we have created below.
We have also been enjoying getting outdoors. We took a nature walk through Barons Haugh and compared the features of our own local woodland to the Rainforest. We also enjoyed den making during our one of our whole school outdoor learning experiences.
This term, we have started to learn all about the Victorians. We will be exploring what life was like for children during this time at home, school and in work. We will also be working hard to learn a selection of songs and dances from Oliver! to perform for you at our Christmas show!
