09:10-09:30 Spelling (ALL):
– Find your words for today on your spelling grid. Choose a fun spelling task and write your words in this way.

09:30- 10:35: Apollo Space Mission (ALL):
– Using the link below, find out more about the Apollo Space missions:

What is the Apollo Program? How many missions were there? Take down notes about the missions and the program.

Once you have done this why not design your own insignia OR design one for our class! Find examples in the link below:

10:50-12:30: NUMERACY
Mental Maths (ALL):
– Open the folder called ‘Mental Maths’ within the Numeracy section of our Glow page. Complete Wednesday of ‘18.05.20 Mental maths 2’.
– Practise the 11 and 12 times table.

Sumdog (ALL):
– Go onto Sumdog and complete the North Lanarkshire Math Challenge which ends at 8pm on Thursday!
Let’s try and get onto the leader board and win!
We still need more players (at least 10) to reach the leader board! I know you can do it! Good luck!

Yesterday marked the beginning of Mental Health Awareness Week. I have uploaded some new tasks in today’s folder in the Health and Wellbeing section on Glow (beneath the blue class tiles). This week we are focusing on how amazing you all are! It’s so important to be kind to yourself and understand that you are doing the best you possibly can.

Miss Kiernan’s Tasty Tuesday Tasks

Hi All

I hope you all are well!

Primary 1-3 – Today I have set some literacy work based on the e-book A Monster Surprise. Get someone to read the story at home to you. I’ve put the e-book into your class folder. After you have read the book design your own monster and write some super adjectives to describe your monster.

P4-5 – Today I have set some interesting literacy tasks for you to try. You are going to draw and describe your one monster. I have included a power point and added this to your class folder, as well as a monster adjective help sheet. Once you have designed your monster choose some super adjectives to describe your monster and then write a short story about your monster.

P6-7 – Today I have set your grammar and punctuation practice. Just log into the Special Secret Agent Game that I’ve put into your class folder and see if you can complete the special mission!
