Look at our lovely Autumn display! We explored God’s wonderful world in autumn and created some autumn trees using different media. Everyone chose what they would like to use and then went about creating! We had to be like Kuba the Caterpillar and really concentrate.  All of the colours are autumn colours.

In our Growth Mindset activities we have been learning that sometimes it is better to work in a team, especially if the task is too tricky for one person. We put this to the test when we made our autumn umbrellas and worked in small teams.

In maths we have been learning about flat shapes and solid shapes. We used some flat shapes to make a shape picture, we learned some new, tricky shapes called pentagon and hexagon.

Can you see what we have made and what shapes we have used?

Look at this imaginative shape picture! Carly Anne used her imagination really well to create this.

Also in maths, we explored symmetry and then we created symmetrical butterflies with autumn colours.

Look at the fun we had at the obstacle course on Thursday! We went under tents, over benches, through tunnels and had magnificent fun!

In literacy we have been trying really hard to make word all by ourselves and with Have a Go Hamal the hedgehog, we are becoming more confident.

In gymnastics lessons this week, we have been learning to add a roll to our sequence. This roll you can see is the Teddy Bear roll and it was quite tricky!

Watch this space for more interesting news next time. Have a great holiday and we will catch up in the new term 2!!!
