Good morning everyone!
How are you all? I hope you have managed to make your bed and have your breakfast.
I hope you got on okay with yesterday’s tasks. What new sound did you learn again? That’s right, the ph sound. Did you manage to think of lots of words that begin with this sound?

Let’s begin our day with our morning prayer.
God our Father, as we prepare to begin our work, we ask you to help us use properly, the many gifts you have given us, so that we may fully benefit from our day together in school. St. Barbara, pray for us.
Here is today’s overview:
Literacy
Common Words: one, first, little
Ask your child to think of a strategy to help them spell each new common word correctly. For example, they might spot a word within a word that could help them. One has the word on in it and they might spot it in little. They can choose a strategy that works best for them.
Writing
Once your child has written their sentences ask them to check that they have included their core writing targets.
Reading- Scholastic
Most people have sent me an email and have been reading their assigned books on Scholastic. If you haven’t been able to access this resource yet and would like your child’s login details, please send me an email.
